A: On the internal portion of the homeowner website. You can view the HOA Calendar under the Communication section. There are only a few meetings per year so please check with AMI. Click login above. This information is protected by your unique password.
Q: How do I find out about the Rules and Regulations?
A: The governing documents are posted on the internal website and are searchable. If in doubt, contact AMI, your HOA management company.
Q: What does the Association maintain?
A: The 2021 budget is posted in the Property Information section of the internal website. The maintenance responsibilities are listed in the Declaration. The Association maintains the Lakehouse and provides the snow removal and landscaping within the Lakehouse as well as monuments, lighting, common area fences within Southshore. Annuals and perennials through-out the community and landscape of common areas. Trash removal is also included in the HOA fees as well.
Q: What does the Metro District maintain?
A: AMI does not oversee Metro District maintenance but communicates with the Board of the Metro District to help notify of required maintenance. This is a brief summary of the items that the Southshore Metropolitan District maintenance responsibility:
1. The turf, existing shrubs, and trees in landscape tracts located adjacent to Powhaton Road, E. Southshore Parkway, E. Arapahoe Road, and Shady Grove Way. This includes mowing, fertilization, edging, weed control, etc.
2. The turf, existing shrubs, and trees in landscape tracts located in the Senac Creek drainage corridor.
3. The water features in the Senac Creek drainage corridor; included Senac Lake. The District provides water quality control and mosquito abatement treatments in these areas.
4. The Boat House – the Boat House is also the pump station for the pumps that provide irrigation water to the community, as well as the pumps that re-circulate water through the water features. The electric costs to operate the pumps is the District’s responsibility. The District is responsible for maintaining the structure and the pumps. The District also installs and removes the floating docks each year.
Q: What does City of Aurora Maintain?
A: the City of Aurora is responsible for maintaining the 5-acre park within the Senac Creek drainage corridor. Snow removal and maintenance of all streets and street lights.
Q: Are outside community residents allowed to use the pool for a fee?
A: There is a small number of visitors allowed per season. Those fees are paid to the HOA for the benefit of the Homeowners.
